Become A Responsible Sales Person In Alcohol Training

Alcohol training isn’t required in very many states. Because most of the rules and regulations surrounding the service and sale of alcohol are common sense, many states don’t mandate training programs. Plus, when you have entry-level employees working in these careers with such a high turnover rate, training for the career can prove to be expensive and time consuming for many businesses. Getting the right training, however, will allow you to figure out exactly what is expected of you, how to handle situations, and how you can be a better employee when you sell or serve alcohol.

Know The Limits With EDI Food Safety

Food safety standards are critical to the success of the food service and food manufacturing industries. EDI food safety is one area that is very important in the manufacture of food products, and cannot be taken for granted. EDI stands for estimated daily intake, and that refers to the amount of packaging (usually plastic) that is consumed by people on a daily basis. While most people don’t realize that they consume any packaging in their meals, there are many elements that can cause plastic to leak into food products if the packaging is not made correctly, creating a breach in safety and well-being for the general public.

Re-Certifying Your TABC Certification

This is only a voluntary certification that you can get and is being offered by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC). TABC certification is not mandated by state law, but is often mandated by many employers simply because it reduces their liability and provides a more educated and professional employee for the workplace. Of course, you can also choose to get this certification on your own just to make yourself a more desirable prospect for employment. Regardless of whether you get this certification for your own good or because it is required, the course is good for two years. When those two years are up, you have to re-certify.

Importance of Food Handling Safety

Food is one of the basic needs of human being. Nowadays we can get it whenever and wherever we like it. What I meant is, we can either buy it in a store, supermarkets, food stalls, order it via phone or online. But the thing about foods bought outside or made by other people is that we don't know if they are handling it the way we think they should be. Mishandling because of lack of knowledge in proper food handling safety basics can cause food poison and other sorts of illness that can be acquired by eating food.
